In summer 2017, Timbuktu Arts was founded. As per our name, the initial goal was to promote Africa and its crafts to the diaspora. Over time, we noticed that the diaspora was not only composed of people from African descendant but also others who simply have love for the motherland. It is because of this observation that we broadened our goal to give everyone the opportunity to connect to their roots. This t-shirt is the byproduct of that bigger vision.
