The Gyawu Atiko literally translates as "the back of the head of Gyawu"; Gyawu (name of a warrior) , Atiko (back of the head). It is the adinkra symbol of bravery and valor. Adinkra are symbols from Ghana that represent concepts or aphorisms. This Necklace was made based on the Andikra writing for Gyawu Atiko.
